I think my entire play through is now ruined *SPOILER*

I had an infected pawn with me. I had no idea they can kill an entire village. I was doing a quest and now the quest npc(s) is dead. Along with other npcs. I refuse to buy the stupid wakestones DLCs . Grinding these are annoying in the game. Either I find info on the best way to grind for them or completely give up on playing more. Because you only have one save and I'm deep into the game already.

I don't know what to do at this point. I'm thinking they added this crap to get new players to buy wakestone dlcs.. once the pawn nukes an entire village

But at least I have fps in the town now lmfao.

Well good news; normal npcs respawn after 7 days in-game (just spam sleep) however; the unique npcs don't respawn.

Edited: Use The Eternal Wakestone.

PAY close attention to pawn behavior; how they respond to you and other pawns, red glowing eyes, not listening to your commands, ect. Just overhaul being an ass. Toss them into the ocean. Let them breed out. They can infect other pawns.

damage is done, and the best way to deal with it is to either farm wakestones to get quest npcs back or raw dog the main quest to NG+

how to prevent this? if pawns make remarks about another pawn for not listening to the arisen or the Pawn bossing around the others → throw them into the ocean
if a pawn has glowing/pulsing red/purple eyes → throw them into the ocean
there is a quest for an item that can mitigate the pawn nuke ONCE, so best be on your toes and bath your pawns in Brine to wash them clean

the 5 wakestones you can buy wont fix this lmao - the MTX is just an idiot tax

Are you talking about Wakestones? The ones you constantly accumulate while playing?

I have 6 of them. They start piling up if you don't waste them on respawning yourself.

Some say core npcs will be ressurected after 7 in game days(not confirmed info from reddit). When a pawn starts giving cheeky remarks or 'feels' more alive from their conversations, that means they're infected (at least early stages of infection), it's better to get rid of then asap, just throw them in water and hire another pawn
