Pawns seem to get scars?
Just noticed my main pawn seems to have accumulated fresh wounds, just a cool little feature I noticed. In fact another pawn commented on it, saying my pawn had accumulated more scars than most or something lol.

Then she replied with something like- "Each is a badge I wear with pride being beside the arisen." (something along those lines). Thought they meant the scars I designed her with, but must have been the scars she accumulated on our journey.

Someone just told me in a thread I created that this could be from dragonplague. I would throw that pawn off a cliff!

Not the plague... pawn get scar if they died in battle, in your world or while they travel with other, die here mean you don't revive them and they despawn.. the plague give your pawn red eyes and dark/black aura around them

I think it's cool, I wish we could get battle scars too also wish more games would have these kinds of features.

If you're trying to have the battle scars removed, two ways of which you can remove them is by resummoning your pawn at the giant rift stone in Vernworth or by having them bathe in the hotsprings Volcanic Island Camp. Obviously, it's easier to just resummon them at Vernworth.

in the first game you could add scars in character creation

Can we bottle the spring water like in the first game? I didn't know there was a spring. I have heard of the volcanic area but have not reached it.

Mine had red eyes but still no sign of rebellion, slept in the wild and the morning after the red eyes were gone but a scar on her shoulder pop'd up!

You can remove the scars by bathing in the hot spring.

Yeah, its cool especially if you keep the same pawns for alot of the game, which I did, its just a shame that the plague took them.

Damn. I never let my pawn fully die so I never knew this was a thing.

Other people who rent out pawns can also create scars on other pawns, they won't see it, as after that the pawn is already gone, and when you rest and get back updated pawn data your pawn will get those scars.
Brine and Death create them regardless where they are, uploaded pawn data only gets updated obviously when the user who owns the pawn rests.

Just go to the hot spring on the volcanic isle and wash them away. Problem solved.
