Upgrading weapons and armour query.

If I visit a blacksmith to upgrade my weapons or armour, after the first upgrade, which just costs gold, it takes gold and items.

As the carry weight in this game is low, when I speak to the blacksmith, do I have access to my inn storage, or do I have to check what items are needed, go to the Inn, retrieve them and go back to the blacksmith?

I'm quite liking the game so far, I'm about 9 hours in, defo need frame generation sorted asap for the city though, even with my 7800x3d and 4080 frames drop to 30-40 fps in the city (DLSS set to quality and settings all maxed though...). No issues at all outside of a city :) With frame generation this game will be great.

No need, the game pulls your materials straight from all inventories, be it the item storage, your inventory or any of the pawn's inventories too.

I don't have a hard answer right now, but it seems like upgrading will draw from storage as well as personal inventory based on my past experience, but I wasn't paying attention. I'll have to look when I play again.
