Kind of disappointed in the lack of spells compared to DD1 and some of the changes they made to them, but I am interested in the story and the world feels lived in and is well designed.
I think the caverns by the riverbeds look particularly nice.
I would probably give it an 8/10.
Almost like you're full of poo.
They got around 50 minutes and collected two achievements.
Not that it matters anyway.
BBI jumped the first game to a 9 for me, so I reckon the same would be true for this game if it happens.
if they fixed the legitimate performance issues my rate would be so far 8 out of 10
the story is pretty good, there's a good range of player choice, you can edit your toon and pawn to how you want. this gets it up to 8 stars alone
it could have been 9 stars but the down side is the combat system is even more over complicated and clunky than dragons dogma dark arisen, the immersion gets broken every time you watch food being cooked. yes they added a video of a real chop being cooked over a camp fire like a hello fresh ad, and your pawns are somehow more stupid than the first game (AI is supposed to be better now) and of course the cancer of micro transaction is another star lost. while those are not game altering they are just there for the lazy and have no time players, the fact they are there and exist is enough.
With the performance issues it's currently sitting at a 5 out 10
the bugs in the game range from stability issues, to graphics issues to playability issues. most caused by BAD optimisations and most are sadly game breaking.
How far are you into the game?
Solid 7.5
It's a fun action game with a cool world and map. Story doesn't really seem to matter much and it's missing many features I would expect in an "rpg"
The game play is starting to feel a little repetitive. You basically just explore a large map and fight mobs, albeit with very solid combat mechanics.
