Not near the well, not inside the tavern, not in his house

I got the same problem. I found him after i came later back. A quest with ulrika triggered and then he stood infront of ulrikas house

Found him, after skipping some time by sitting on a bench found him on a cliff you can enter exiting the tavern throug back door

He is at the gate. This guy gave me soon much headache

I had same problem - On my way on the oxcart my team started randomly attacking the friendly NPC's and even actually destroyed the cart. Second time ive had issues with my team attacking friendlies.

so per this thread...

1. in front of ulrikas house
2. on cliff through tavern back door
3. gate

checking...

after sleeping in inn until night i found him at the gate.
