Cant grapple in DD2 ?

I'd love an answer to this too, I've seen Pawns pinning down, overpowering weaker humanoids as Fighter/Thief. How do you do it as a player?

Try grabbing the enemies after jumping towards them, preferably from a higher elevation. Additionally some vocations have actions that do that, for example holding Y/Triangle on small enemies with Thief.

run towards them and press grab or jump at them and press grab. bigger enemies have to be staggered first before you can grapple them.

Yep, confirmed. Jump towards an enemy and grab :)
