Newt Liquor Store Soft Locked

Tried to do the "move box into pen area" next to Higgs tavern to gain access to secret shop and get newt liquor so I can give it to Lamond. However, when I moved the stack and placed it, it didn't automatically move me inside the store; instead a squad of 5 npcs spawned around me and then I thought maybe i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up somehow so i left and reentered the area, and now the stack is gone, and the dude who guards the door to the liquor store is still there -_-
Anyone else experience the same bug? (FYI Its not possible for me to revert back to an old tavern save anymore since my dumbass thought maybe it'll fix itself due time but it never did lmao)

I killed Karnel and Keith outside of the shop and that let me in after I broke both sandbags.

Can confirm, just kill both -> run out of town until battle musik ends and you can buy the liqor.

thanks! found that you only need to kill Keith in front of the door and still works if you revive him after going inside

If you can get or have the red wine or what's it called, saurian tail can be combined to make it, you should have gotten a few from the Bryant guy

Did you make sure to wear the beast mask? It's needed to get teleported into the shop.
