Portkey is about the most valuable thing there and without eternal ferry crystals, or ferry crystals at all, it's kinda a paperweight.

How about just not spending money on MTX anyway since you can either get a mod for the items on PC or just find them in game?

I am not a fan of MTX either but in this case there's zero reason to buy any of the items available.

I heard there are already mods out there that allow you to buy as many port crystals , ferry stones , art of meta books and wakestones as you wish for a hefty gold fee in game of course .

maybe that's the grift, they have places like Fanatical sell DD2 at like 18% off, and then if you're burned by the day-one issues then your review on Steam isn't actually counted and you can't get a refund from Valve

How to play DD2 without paying for microtransactions:

1) look at mtx. Realize they're stupid, pointless, and dumb.
2) don't pay for them

just wait till all the patches fix the game optimization problems, quest bugs, etc... then grab it on sale on steam cuz capcom tend to give slight discount after 2 to 3 months after release.

or just play Shadow of the Erdtree till they get their sh*t together
