Changing Pawn Name

I misunderstood the naming process for my pawn and now she goes around with "Main Pawn" over her head. Is there anyway to give her a proper name or is it over?

You have to turn off cloud saves and delete your save. You can't rename your main pawn not even if you buy the book to activate character creation again.

OR wait for the update they're working on to allow you to play New Game again (which I assume deletes your save file for you)

That sucks, I've played a bit and I don't really want to delete. It'd be nice if you could just rename them whenever.

It would but I assume it has to do with the fact that your main pawn gets shared online, and so they don't want people being able to change names to copy names of others in the pawn rankings or something. Still if you're lucky then maybe there's a cheat mod to change the name, but any official means is a no go for the time being.

buy art of metamorphosis in the pawn's guild shop, it's 250 rc if I remember correctly, it allows you to change your arisen's or pawn's appearance and their name

I actually hired her, because of that name. Please don't change it, Main Pawn is one of my Favorites :D

There's a lot of people with pawns of that same name because they named their character something that wasn't allowed, so you probably didn't get OP's pawn.

500rc and no it doesn't let you change names it only lets you change everything else in character creation for either you or your pawn (one time use so choose wisely who you want to use it on)

One of the pawn I recruited had her name changed midway in game. Leads to me thinking if there indeed is a way..
It was changed from Samantha to Morgan, so whoever's pawn that was, please help to enlighten us

It's most likely their moniker. Sometimes they'll switch around. Idk why this is the case, but you'll notice it easier when you get the "SphinxParent/Mother/Father" type Pawns and you notice it switches between the Pawn name and that special moniker and it'll never switch to a 3rd name.

It's probably that weird bug when it suddenly switches from custom name to moniker, I had that happening to me and my pawn.

Damn, this sucks. I just went and decided to completely change my pawn from a zombie to an elf since I don't see myself getting rid of Woodland Whisperer. So now I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ elf named Thrall for all eternity unless I just restart after near 100 hours?

I have seen Main Pawn in the rifts a few times , I wondered at the name ! But why not stay NOVEL ?? It gets noticed
