*****Spoiler***** Question Regarding The Attack In Melve

I have completed the quest Monster Culling, I have ventured to Battahl, I have received the Mystic Spearhand class, I have even completed the quest line in Harve Village. I'm curious as to why the dragon has never attacked in Melve. Meaning Ulrika has never moved or given me the Quest Readvent of Calamity. Should I just skip that quest and move on with the story or try and figure out why the attack never happened?

Before you ask yes I have waited plenty of days and taken plenty of OxCarts to and from Melve and Vernworth.

Have you finished feast of deception

Have you entered her house and got a cutscene with her arguing with someone?
interesting since i got Mystic Spearhand after the dragon attack on Melve
have you done Scaly Invaders in harve?

I have the same problem. I finished feast of deception and I'm not sure about the arguing cutscene.

i haven't done the "main quest" or feast of deception.. randomly traveled to melve bam dragon attack, i assume its the one with pus around its body

I finished all of the first main group of quests given to me by brant and then I think he told me to check out melve. Dragon attacked then. Just about to start for the day and find Ulrika.

Yes, I have done the feast of Deception quest, No I have not seen her arguing with anyone. She just wanders around town aimlessly and yes its the dragon with pus all over its body.

I´ve heard that the quest Readvent of Calamity is locked out after you complete Coronation...

Yeah after you repel the dragon you get "return to melve later" quest which afaik you can ox carting away and back is enough time to past from it and you head to her house and some cut-scenes play then gets you another quest.

Could be Coronation/ventured to Battahl locked it out. How/when did you get Mystic Spearhand class before the quest? Perhaps with doing feast of Deception the attack "happens" when you aren't there.

The attack on Melve never happened in my game either, I am in the same boat as you are progress wise as well

Incredibly lame that I got locked out of the quest for just doing other quests. Oh well I guess, I'll just have to wait until NG+
