the nameless village quest bugged

reached srail underground hes supposed to give you some arrest warrant but he isnt giving it to me and i cant do anything else in the village

Have you found the letter in one the houses? Something about brass? I just did this is quest on PS5 so its a shot in the dark.

i found the letter it was outside the yellow area but nothing seems to have changed

Talking to him several times with the same options selected changed his answers to me. Found this out after spending like 2 hours going back and forth between the capital and the village...

This is bugged for me too. I got to the end where online guides say Srail is supposed to be, but he isn't there. The little kid is there, but not the NPC. I revisited at every time of day and he isn't there.

I need help with this or my game will be permanently bugged.

Did you talk to the meister? Did you talk to the person tailing you? Did you eavesdrop on the villagers? Did you find the letter? You're not providing much information to help with.
