No Ball Dresses for Female Characters
*UPDATE*
A mod has been made to fix this. Jenya66 on the nexus has made a mod to allow you to wear 5 gowns as a replacer for the courtly clothes

*ORIGINAL POST*
So when I saw the trailer and saw all the dresses and women in ballgowns I got really excited to be able to put one on my character based of the Reign version of Mary Queen of Scots. However I got in-game and to my absolute horror... no dresses! So now I have to walk around the ball in a frigging pantsuit looking like geralt of rivia from Vizima instead of a literal queen. All I want is be able to wear what the other female party goers wear. Please Capcom implement this. I feel if you are priding yourselves on the diversity and freedom of choice it DD2 has to offer then there should be the option to choose between the pants and doublet or the ballgown. 🤷‍♂️

I completely agree with this. I feel like again they made a game that was mainly toward the masculine side of things. Instead of the feminine side. They even show like two women on the main game page but yet you cannot get a masquerade ball gown type outfit or a courtly outfit that happens to be for a woman. It's always the man....
And not just that. It doesn't bother me as much but being called sir, all the time is also something that threw me off and I knew for a fact that there's no diversity in this game when it comes to men and women....

They're calling you ser, not sir. You say ser when addressing a knight.

I am also annoyed that there are no real dresses in the game for the characters, just slutty gear and a corset of all things, the noble outfit is also trousers and a vest since they didn't bother making two outfits I guess. It's IN the game though, several dresses are used by various NPCs, it can't be that hard to make those possible to wear for female characters.

ser is used neutrally as a term for someone knighted, since our character is a knight of sorts they are refered to as ser

I have an update on this... an amazing modder by the name of Jenya66 on the Nexus has made a mod that allows you to wear all dresses seen at the ball as well as Disa's dress. the mods name is Masquerade Gowns on the Nexus if you would like to try it

Does it add to collection of outfits or does it just replace outfits already in game?

you are delusional for saying this when there is literally a corset and a ton of armor that only fits female characters, male characters dont have many options when it comes to looks, not to mention npc use Ser and not Sir

That is why I seen odd looking pawns for hire.

Maybe. Although, and not wanted to critizice anyones tastes, but balldresses are imo not the most optimal cloths for fighting journeys :-)
