ADD RAW MOUSE INPUT / TURN OFF MOUSE ACCELERATION
The forced mouse smoothing for many people ends up with deadzones where the slower movement isn't even picked up by the camera, makes it pretty much unplayable for me. It's a common problem and has been for about 2 decades, yet some devs still see no reason to implement raw mouse input, which solves this problem a 100% and is super easy to add, so the devil only knows how a game in 2024 can still be released without raw mouse input. They can "recommend controllers" all they want, there will always be a ton of people wanting to play over M&K, because it's just a whole different feeling, much less restricted, much more fluid, much more alive. ♥♥♥♥ the devs who think it's not necessary to provide the bare minimum of K&M implementations.
I could even live with the ridiculous keybinding limitations, but a camera that doesn't move properly simply is a dealbreaker.
And yes, there is the option of putting sensitivity down to the minimum ingame and putting it way up in windows, but it still feels crappy as hell and can't be the solution. FIX IT.

Just another one of many reasons not to buy this game. At this point, I'm pretty sure some japanese developers are doing this on purpose to gimp m/kb like Fromsoft. MHW had this but fixed it after half a year so why is crapcom doing this again? Granblue fantasy relink also had smoothing but gave the option to disable it after 1 month from release after player feedback. It can't be that hard to implement if it takes less than a month to patch.

It's a super easy fix, they just don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about it and with every damn release they get a ton of complaints and then fix it afterwards. It's one of the easiest things to fix imaginable, and definitely THE easiest of all the complaint-lists out there, together with the blocked keybinding.

If you sell a game on PC, make it 100% pleasantly playable with m+kb. If you're not capable of it, don't sell your games on PC.

I have that disabled in windows because i prefer smooth mouse. You can't enable it in windows or with the software for your mouse?

Not really a needed setting in a game with these options.

The mouse controls are :Classic_poop:

Baffling, because this uses the RE engine, and in the Resident Evil games the mouse controls are smooth.

Setting the FoV higher with reframework mod helps a bit, but a raw mouse input option would be so much better

i think this is a TOP prioirity for devs, and they r asking about would the players like a paid dlc for this crappy port or not WTF is going on with the devs nowadays...

Why this thread is not on top, ppl dont understand the name of it or what?
Mouse acceleration is also horrible.

Apparently they added "controller tied damping" and applied it to mouse input.

Here's a mod for the mouse input

Disabling it in windows or the mouse software doesn't change ♥♥♥♥ for most people, do you really think I haven't exhausted all those options yet? Lol. Of course it's a necessary option in a game, as 90% of all pc game devs know and handle properly. It's one of THE most basic things to implement in a game that supports mouse & keyboard in fact.
