So NPCs die.....and then you cant progresss the game??? WTF IS THIS DESIGN?!?!
Correct me if im wrong but can you still complete the quest after an important NPC dies permantely? Is there really no way of completing the quest??

Because one npc elf died when i was against the chaimera and now the time has passed and hes is in the morgue (dead permantely). But my pawns say that they knowh who to speak with the problem is HE IS DEAD! And because we cant bring him back anymore I CANT COMPLETE THE DAM QUEST!!! So i ask Who thought that this would be a good idea to add Perma death to NPCs withouth making some backup plan in case they die permantely.

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THIS IDEA WAS RUSHED, BUT NOT THOUGHT OUT, AND IMPLEMENTED AT THE LAST SECOND.

FUTHERMORE I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND WHY IS THE WAKESTONE THE ONLY ITEM THAT CAN REVIVE THE PLAYER AND THE NPCS, AT THE VERY LEAST THEY SHOULD HAVE SPLIT AND MADE TWO ITEMS FOR TWO DIFERENT OCASIONS.

OR HELL ,I DONT KNOWH, MAKE IT SO THE BODIES ARE STILL INTERACTABLE EVEN ON THE MORGUE !!!

It just seems to be a cool idea but none thought of backup plan in case this goes south and since at the moment you can only have a save(Which is retarded ) , it feels like the 60-70 or maybe 80$ that you paid for the game 5-10% of the content of the game is basically locked.

I like the idea but the execution is just horrendous, give US THE PLAYER THE mission AND not to the npcs to babysit, because otherwise people will start to get mad because the NPC decided that hes tired of life and jumped off or because the mage just sended him to the dam moon.

THE GAME IS FUN BUT THE MECHANICS NEED TO BE WORKED

But that is just my opinion.

You do know, that there are Wake stones in the game that can resurrect dead NPC, right?
Maybe do some research before starting whining about bad game design?

The game was made such way so each decision or action you do would have some kind of consequences. Find the wake stone and get that dead fella on their feet.

Wakestones can be earned and found throughout the game fairly easily, and can be used to revive NPCs from the morgue. You should be able to just revive the person the quest is for to continue it.

Im very well aware about what wakestones are, But thats not the problem you are here to play the game not to babysit NPCs because they decided for some reason to attack without me even being there so you gets punished not for your own decisions but by the NPCs decisions and if you dont have wakestones... well yeah good luck

you are refering to when the bodies still show up on the morgue right? yeah thats what im refering to. They dont show up anymore so I am assuming that they died permantly

Had an NPC start a quest line with me yesterday, just as he got crushed by an ogre. I got the popup message about NPC deaths and didn't have a wake stone. Nor did I want to remember where the guy's body was. So, I chucked him over my shoulder, carried him back to town and ressed him. He told me he wanted me to escort him somewhere, but refused to move. So over my shoulder he went again until we got to the destination and he finished the quest line, rewarding me rather greatly.

In short, it's not a big deal and adds a bit of worry to the world.

Dude killed all the NPC's in town then gets mad when he can't do NPC's quest after he killed them. This isn't Starfield bud... This game will not hold your hand.

Dragon's Dogma has always been built around the premise that you can't do >everything<, at least not in your first run. It's also why the series leverages heavily on the NG concept, to catch things you missed the first time around.

Don't worry, there's a dollar microtransaction to bring them back to life!

you mean npcs creating a situation to put the player on edge cuz they decide to Leroy Jenkins some mobs when you arnt looking. sound like something people have been wanting in a game like this for years.

Skyrim players (more than 10 years ago): Why are you babysitting me? Let me kill whoever I want including quest givers.

DD2 Players: Why don't you babysit me and not allow quest NPCs to die or be killed.

They are never going to please everyone.
