Ryzen 7800X3D + RTX 3080 + 64 GB RAM - Running Smooth
Before buying the game I was really worried it wouldn't work for me like it hasn't for so many others, but I was surprised that I did not crash a single time. At certain points my FPS did dip but never crashed.

Just thought I'd share my system specs to give some data and perspective. Game seems to be CPU heavy.

With your build, your fps should never dip. Your PC build is top-tier. You should never see a number below 60 (at any point) in a game like this.

Same with a 10900k + RTX 3080 12gb + 64gb.

7800X3D has 40 fps in towns. Not smooth.

The thing that's really killing it for me and most is the Vram. In my case for some reason, it will say I have 7.8 GB of Ram and then randomly change to only having 5.6. No other windows open and no other downloads happening in the background. Even in the wilderness my performance was starting to stutter after about 9 hours.

Part of that is that the game is pretty demanding, and while your 4070 should be running similarly to the 3080, the 4070 is on a 128-bit bus which limits its performance on games that require lots of demanding memory performance.

I'm just giving my specs, and I don't care if the game has some problems later on. I have disposable income. Project harder.

@19:54.

you should work for digital foundry and tell them how to fix their performance.
