What a terrible decision
You know exactly what I'm talking about and charging over £50 for a game where you actually have to buy stuff with real world money is another scummy move from Capcom.

Did you really need to include that?

But to be honest I expect only a tiny portion of Steam users to understand the problem here because this is the same community that gave Starfield the Outstanding Achievement Award!

Yeah sure because the stuff for sale get less accessible at endgame than they are early.

The vendors just disappear when you hit level cap I guess.

Can you point out a game that let's you buy something that isn't obtainable in the game?

The point is not that those things are in the game in the first place. It's the point that the prices for those things are so much it's been designed to make you buy the shortcut or do the long ass grind.

For example a pair of glasses costs around 2000 RC. It takes over 4 hours just to get 500 RC so you are expected to grind for 3-4 times that to give your Pawn a cosmetic change?

Or are you going to pay $5 for 2,500 RC and get that item immediately and leave yourself with the same amount you'd have if you did grind for 4 hours?

So the choice is 12-14 hours grind or $5. Capcom wouldn't even do this if they didn't think there were people out there who were going to buy it rather than "play the game".

The further point is if that MT did not exist it would not take 12-14 hours to get the EC needed to by a pair of glasses in the shop as gamers would see that as ridiculous.

BTW Glasses is just an example.
1. Persona 5 Royal dlc personas

2. the gold prices are extrememly fair in game as its not hard to get gold at all i had 60k when i got to the main city at the beginning of the game, for example to key you brought up earlier is 3k wich is nothing

3. the glasses arnt rlly a good argument as they are purely cosmetic to my knowledge and as said can be earned nomrally, but if there is something else feel free to mention it

4&5. I will agree capcom knows what they are doing 100% and people will buy them, nobody will argue that some people dont like spending times earning things and would rather take a shortcut even if the thing didnt take that long to do in the first place they've been doing it for a long time

6. nothing is hard to earn in this game, you'd know that if you actually been playing it and if not i cant help but wonder what u been doing in it, majority of the people complaining are just watching videos about other people complain and echoing what they've just heard without researching it themselves

Oh no, it's worse than you're thinking hun. The stuff available to buy are common items. It's like they're specifically praying on people stupid enough to think these items are shop-exclusive.

DD1 did the same thing before Dark Arisen came out, so my bet is that the definitive edition of the game is just gonna remove the MTX and bundle one copy of all of it in like Dark Arisen did. If you ever were curious why there was weirdly strong gear in your storage at the start of Dark Arisen, that's because it was DLC.

Honestly, this kind of DLC is the worse imo. Trivial items that don't even add anything new to the game, just common stuff you can get in game. Stuff like this merely exists to exploit people - the only thing worse is stuff like experience boosters which actually have straight up gameplay consequences to insensitivize their purchases.

I wish they'd just make and sell merch instead. Sell me a statue of Grigori or something, or like official posters I can decorate my office with.

Yes gold is easy to get. Not so easy is RC.

Anyway let's have some fun. 5 hour playthrough with Larry David as the main character hence the need for round glasses that just happen to cost 2000 RC lol.

Also look at the shop. A pair of glasses as an example costs 2000 RC and you can buy RC on Steam.

And you can earn 2000 RC rather easily in the game...so what is your point exactly?

You might not have to buy all the MTX but they are preying on peoples ignorance for them to buy the MTX. So is it okay to prey on people who see the MTX and dont know any better that they think they should buy it to progress. I think its spitting unknowing customers in the face. I'm definitely skipping this game

Yep this has really put me off buying it as it's just a scummy practice. If Capcom had no issues with this they wouldn't have hidden it from the review copies as no critic even mentions it.

No, I don't plan on getting used to it.
And this kind of defeatist mentality is what got us here in the first place.
Masses are stupid, and they will always be. That's why you have whole field of socio-technic science, of how to steer them in the direction you want.
That's how the marxist got so much sawy currently.
The same can be done to rally masses against practices like this.
You can just sit down and take it, like you did for all this time. But at least keep your black pill to yourself, or enjoy me and others laughing at you on forums like this.
