you had a new inn save, but also your last save was 10 hours prior?
doesn't add up. Did you quit before the inn save completed, because that is the only reason as to how this would even be possible, and completly your fault for quitting mid save.

Launch this and keep it running while playing.
Normally the game overwrite its saves.
This tool, as soon as the game make any kind of save, it make a backup of it.
Meaning you have infinite "save slots"! (even different characters if you want)
I agree the save system of this game is utter trash. Now, having read this post i worry I might run into a similar problem and will have to start backing up my save manually constantly.
They should put a warning at the menu though right? Like, "Are you sure you wanna reload this save? Its 10 hours older then the auto one you have".
