UPDATE (Read my last 2 comments) Anyone else's main quest bugged? (No spoilers)

So I did a side quest that teleported me to the castle, and I accidentally ran into the female guard for Disa's Plot quest that leads you to the guard entrance.

I got to the room to get the evidence and there is nothing there, I got spotted but lost them, so do I need to do it with no one spotting me?

Anyone who has gotten here, is my gamed bugged or am I dumb and doing something wrong?

I do not have the item spawning for me at all, and have now tried 3 different nights.

For me the door remains locked, how can I open it??

Did anyone here go to the nameless village and complete a quest before doing this quest? If so you need to speak to the guy who gave you the main missions again and he will. tell you to go do something else.

I believe its possible to sequence break that quest if you go out and explore certain areas. Its still in my quest menu but I will check in a min to see what happens when I progress the new quest the guy gave me.

So if you read my post above it seems you have to complete the quest The Nameless Village , I completed that and I went back to the room where the paper is suppose to be and it is now spawned in.

Not sure what caused it but like I said before maybe it was a sequence break thing, but either way I'm glad my game is not bricked lol.

So i had the exact same issue, and the only 2 quests I had left were the 2 you mention, finishing them in the order you have posted works.

If you done prior quest then you should know that there are HIDDEN doors aka hidden wall entrances. Maybe start looking for that when you say you can't find the evidence

I had to complete all the other quests the guy would give, then sleep a couple of times and go back to the main menu for the game and load back in. After doing that the item was on the desk as it should be.

My quest The Nameless Village is bugged. I get to the end, where an NPC is supposed to be to talk with, but he is not there. No guide I've seen online mentions how or why he might not be there. I have revisited at each time of day and saved & restarted my game, but it isn't there.

I was able to find the Torn Letter in that quest no problem. But The Nameless Village is bugged. I need help for how to fix this. I'll try sleeping more and restarting more, I guess, since I'm totally stopped right now.

I had this bug. I just saved and quit to the main menu and loaded right back in and the paper was there.
