Forsaken Cavern bug?

The exit to forsaken cavern has a rock in the way, not an object, seemingly an actual rock wall. I wonder if it's because I am too early to be here but it's strange as I know there is a shortcut on the otherside via a rope ladder on a cliff. Anyone else found this?

I'm not sure why the game would intentionally put a wall at the end of a dungeon for any reason.

Not been there yet, but rock walls can be destroyed, with rocks, if you throw one at it e.g.

I've thrown explosive barrels, my pawn, and rocks at it.
It's not an object, it's a wall. Like, a cave wall. It feels misplaced or maybe an oversight?

I'm having the same issue, I saw someone had the wall cleared but I'm not sure how that happened sadly

Yeah I am in the same spot when I found this on Google. There is also a reddit discussion for the same issue.

In the first game there were several walls that could not be opened, but when returning after some time, or when another quest was for the area, the wall would be gone.

I am betting this is the case in this cave.

basically at the start of the map though so its weird if thats the case. Most towns are so far away from the beginning.

Found this cave too. Can't get in. Bummer cause I've only found like one other cave haha.

from what people have said they are just pretty much the exits. Both of the other entrances were blocked but I was able to get into one. It could be random with what entrance you can enter from.

So, I'm currently in the Cavern of the Forsaken, the entrance was after the first encounter with a big fella in the river. I did not take the offer of using the Oxcart to travel to the capitol, and explored on my own. Earlier in this region I discovered a rolled up ladder, where I threw one of my prawns over to let it down. There was a cave symbol on the map but no entrance, but I heart voices. At the Oxcart itself was also a ladder but way to high to reache it. Following the road and killing some goblins I was able to climb a little higher on the right side of the road, found a broken rift stone and a cave entrance. After some hefty flights I reached two dead ends in the cave, one was with some bandits (probably heard then from outside). Both dead ends have exit symbols on the map, but no way to get past the walls.

This was my situation. Entered the same entrance you did and I dropped the ladders to both of the other dead end entrances.

Joining the conversation to keep tabs on if anyone discovers a solution, I'm in the same boat, entered the cave by the rift stone and can't exit through either of the other two exits... tried exploding barrels as well as the Thief's detonator bombs

Same here. The cave is closed for me

FWIW, I left that area via the Oxen caravan and traveled back to the area on foot and both entrances were now open

Can confirm, the cave was inaccessible at the beginning and now. after progressing in the game a tad. it's open. :)

That cave is blocked off during intro sequence so that you don't go through it, as you'd skip the cyclops area. It will be open later on.
