Seems like you haven't even played the game or the first one. DD1 had 4 skill slots, so does this. Apart from all skills you can learn by levling up, there's also a hidden skill for each class.
You need to unlock some classes in almost the same manner as DDON.
The combat feels way better in DD2, way more impact and not hyper OP skills to kill each big enemy in just a minute.
Music is optional, you can choose DDDA music/effects atleast if you have Deluxe edition, but i go with DD2 music and effects and it's stunning.
The spells are great, sure it's not all spells from DD! but now they are less OP and can't one shot every single being and boss in the game which makes combat so much more fun and you actually gotta advise tactics and also protect the pawns and/or aggro the enemies like you would have to in a real combat with magical people in the party while they cast their spells.
As for voices, it think it's great, i never used the english voices in DDDA because they were just so annoying, but i'm using english voices now because they just sound great and lots of humor aswell.
DD1 had 4 skill slots? Man, bait used to be believable
I played the first game for over 1K hours...
The first game had 6 active ability slots, what are you talking about? The only class the only had 3 was the warrior. (but could add more with mods)
Regardless of whether you like DD2 combat, you can do a side by side and objectively see the downgrade I'm referring to.
Music is objectively worse than DD1. There is no comparison.
I'm glad you like the spells, but that doesn't change the fact there's roughly 40% less of them. And keep playing, the terrible balance means you'll be one shotting in no time.
The English voices for the NPCs are fine, I'm specifically talking about our own voice in the character creator.
Not trolling, everything I pointed out is factual, there's only two points which are subjective, but again backed up by facts and objective comparison.
DD1 had 6 skill slots. Mostly. Some vocations like Magick Archer had 9 kinda (you could assign 3 each to daggers/bow/staff, 2 weapons at a time but you can swap). And I think Warrior only had 3? Been a while.
I refunded it on Steam, kept playing at 30fps (pathetic) on PS5. Also gifted a copy to my brother.
You can choose to ignore what I wrote, doesn't change the fact that everything I wrote was factual or backed up by facts.
That's what you think/believe, over 200k players thinks otherwise than you do.
Thanks for the authorization. I was already gonna do that but now i don't have to feel bad. Cheers!
lol trying to be witty won't change the fact that everything I said was factual. Try not to get so triggered.
