How do I update my hired pawns without releasing them?
Title. I've noticed my hired pawns 'levelled up' somewhere along our travels and I have no idea how I did it. Obviously I understand my main pawn levelling up, but I can't seem to replicate updating my friends pawns without manually releasing them into the rift.

i do not believe you can, i think you just have to replace them with higher level version you recruit later

Think that’s the point perhaps so you aren’t using the same ones over and over. You could add them to favourites probably

Your pawn levels up, the rental pawns (those you hire) do not. Add them to favourites and check back occasionally to see if they levelled up. But yeah, the idea I get so far is to keep changing rental pawns at intervals you decide. Maybe change them every two or three levels you rank up?

rest at an in for the hired pawns to get updated if their owner has been playing and have slept at an inn. thats what iv gathered how the hired pawn system works

it's made on purpose like that so there is pawn rotation amongst the players

You misread something. Only you and your main pawns level and vocations level up. The other pawns are meant to be replaced frequently as you level.
