Stuck at Unsettling Encounter

So. I progressed to the Quest an Unsettling Encounter where you are supposed to enter Allards Chamber. i go in there at night and then...nothing?`i know a cutscene is supposed to start playing but literally nothing happens at all and the door just stays locked..

Did you ever solve this? No cutscene triggers for me either. I have waited/slept and come back several days in a row to no avail. Door won't open, cutscene never plays, cannot progress...

I had the same issue. I entered the door once, it skipped the cinematic cause I interrupted it by entering the room. I didn’t find the hidden door the first time around, then when I tried again, the door was locked. I retried many times and it didn’t work, I was during the day. I went back in the evening and the door was unlocked, room empty.

nothing helped for me besides completely restarting the game and having to it all again...which is annoying af...

I fixed my closed door issue by doing 2 quests in between then comming back at night going up the tower then going back to the door and it was open, only then it was!

Really interesting bug, reminded me of statfield lmao.

same. i have just left this quest undone and carried on with the game, frequently coming back to try the door to no avail. guess it's gonna be 30 hours down the drain 🙃 too bad there's no new game option to make this simple......

Someone wrote in a reddit post, that u have to check the morgue. If sven or allard or both are dead the cutscene will not appear. Maybe some of them died, cause a monster attacked vermonth or smth else. Go check and revive one or Both of them if one or both are dead. I stucked 10 hours on this quest..

So if you have trouble with the an unsettling encounter quest in dragons dogma two because the cut scene won’t play and the door won’t open even though it is night I don’t know why, but I know how to get around it if you are already a wizard or a sorcerer you can use levitation off the bat, but if not, you can go to the guild to temporarily become one so that you can unlock levitation to unlock levitation. You must go through three ranks, which would take about 20 minutes. Once you have levitation, you must go to the castle and without going inside the castle go to the right side side with the axes and the carts then you can levitate onto the oxcart, then onto the farmhouse, and then onto the ledge, then walk across the ledge to then activate the cut scene and then you should be able to do it correctly.

need to go to the morgue sven is prob dead or one of the main characters might of died you need to revive them with a wake stone, same thing happen to me man i was about to delete the game
