I've a desktop PC with a 3060TI and adjusted some settings to around 5GB usage of VRAM and it works fine. Capital is 30fps, outside 60-80fps in fights, with no enemys around it goes to constant 80...
Dont know fps but wasn't noticing anything that I could say unplayable
so we could see 5070 laptops with 16gb of gddr6 or a 5060 with 12gb of vram.
but this is nvidia we are talking about here. even with gddr7 on the horizon, I have the slight feeling they will find a way to shaft consumers again. I just feel sorry for anyone who fell for their marketing
I don't know if I recall this correctly but isn't the 7840hs as good as 5800x ( multithreaded ) and faster ( singlethreaded ).
if that's the case then I see no problem here, considering people are playing this game with a 12400f and see no problems
MSI GE76 Raider 11UH with Windows 10 pro
32 gigs of ram
Intel i9-11980HK 2.6/3.3
NVidia RTX 3080 16 gig ram
I turned everything to High and have bumped up a few settings beyond that and have had an overall good FPS. I'm not sure it helps much but I wanted to add to the list of what's being played on and not getting stutters. I've not turned anything down and honestly moved things higher to see if it would get bad... and they didn't.
I'm not saying it's perfect but luckily I haven't encountered the issues others are having. I do make sure NOTHING else is running but not sure that matters much based off what others have tried.
