Mouse still locked to window ingame

Meaning I have to play in windowed on lower resolution to use onscreen keyboard because otherwise whenever the cursor enters the window it locks it

There's an option to disable that though? You want cursor to go outside the game's border? The "lock" is disabled by default as far as I know. If it's not disabled, find this option. It's 100% there as I checked it when started.
Either that or I misunderstand the problem.

I have it turned off BUT it still locks mouse to the window during gameplay

hmm... no idea, sorry.
I just checked it myself. The option is turned off, and in windowed mode, the cursor goes freely, i.e. it's not locked to the game's window

It does in menus but not when moving

Maybe I’m not understanding correctly but the mouse isn’t going to go off screen when you’re out the menus because it’s now your camera?

Full screen will lock the mouse to your gaming screen

Windowed borderless should allow you to move freely when in menus

Wanting to unlock ingame so I can use onscreen keyboard i set camera to keyboard
