Facts! neither is upscaling technologies like DLSS, FSR,....etc that more or less muddy the picture to get better frames.
DLSS/FSR made devs too lazy to optimize their own products, now all "optimization" is relegated to A.I. upscaling technology. Man I miss the good old days where it was native resolution and you would just crank up AA to get less jaggies, game optimization in modern times is abysmal.
Imagine not possessing this knowledge, and upgrading for frame gen...
If you honestly believe any of this, you have absolutely no business owning a pc.
This has nothing to do with "laziness." Try starting and learning why DirectSR is coming as a standard. Try understanding that PC has gotten fast enough to gather rendering data from other sources than straight pixel pushing.

No its using motion vectors and jitter data, like space warp tech in VR, to generate frames.
The people that are seeing this mod rn, and then read your comment, think you are a complete toolbox.
There is no other way to describe this other than a massive fps gain, with some UI blurring. Anything else is ACTUAL COPE.
LOL I have been PC gaming since early 2000s and built my first PC at a very young age (Battlefield 2 was the first big PC game that got me into building PC, and hardware). Also the proof is in the pudding as literally every major game that releases has trash optimization and are almost ENTIRELY reliant on these A.I. upscalers to eeck out a few more frames.
Things like DLSS/FSR,....etc have become a CRUTCH for devs to lean on to make it look like their games are optimized when in reality it is the up-scaling tech that is doing all of the work and while they release half baked products.
