You're right. As someone who has seen first-hand a massive performance gain from the removal of Denuvo, I cannot trust my lying eyes. Some kids made a video on YouTube, and so I must thus concede.
I've said it here and I'll say it everywhere: RE2 gained 20-30 FPS on AVERAGE and its insufferable microstutter stopped cold when Denuvo was removed. I saw this with my own eyes. Anyone who says Denuvo has no performance impact is either lying, is ignorant, or has hardware that can power through the performance tax. There is no other alternative.
