wakestone, I think you had to go dead place in city, unless it's happen in early game, Ouch!, that is not supposed to happen. That's why some people do create NPC as immortal and can't die mod to ensure help game stay alive, not feel empty world with no npc dead, no quest, ect. I think very few people think this is cool, like real life, but that was not point of game, if all npc dead, meaning no quest, what is left to do in the game? nothing, start over again, I assumed lot of gamer don't like this thing,

Go to the capital city. Look for the coffin icon on the city map and go there then find Gregor's coffin and res him using a wakestone there. That is after his body is actually moved there, might take a few days.

You don't actually need him for the main quest. You can sneak into the city without him. But he does have a side quest associated with him later with pretty good rewards.

EDIT: Oh wait, this is a necro. RIP Gregor :D

Hmm, I recalled, someone calm to said wait for whole week in the game, so you don't had to waste wakeson, just sleep till moring for 7 time, I guess, maybe that would work?

all that CPU power needed to make him walk into a river, something that never happened in dragons dogma 1 which runs on any potato.

Gregor fell to his death in my playthrough too on the escort to the capital. Following a harpy attack. The harpies didn't get him, he did it to himself.

I ended up reloading my last inn save, and ran up the route first clearing the harpies, etc. before starting his escort quest.

As a side note, his wife is one of my favorite NPCs so far. I would not want to be the one responsible for putting Gregor's life in danger.

Why you like his wife? Did she gave great reward from quest or something?

Spoilers for sidequest involving them:

Because the Lord who tried to kill her husband mysteriously died from poisoned wine someone gifted him...

Gregor: ":The lord probably did have many enemies."
Lady Margrit: "Tee hee."

You don't even need to escort him back - you can just leave after saving him and he'll make his own way back :')))

Different quest. Not the saving him from the Dullahan.
The escort quest where he escorts you to the capital.

This game has so much potential but some design decisions the devs made really ruined this game for me. Dying because the water is eating you is one stupid design decisions, and combined this with autosave every 5 seconds, is making it even worse. Sorry for cursing, but this made me uninstall the game.

Wow, it must have *really* annoyed you to necro a six month old post on a forum for a game that you've uninstalled and aren't actually playing. Personally, for me, Gregor dying was brilliant. I might not have seen that at the time, but in retrospect, very happy it worked out like that. I was suddenly stuck in the middle of nowhere, with no clue where I was and no clue how to get there. It made for an epic journey to the capital. On the water thing in particular though, I think that's an inheritance from DDDA. If they'd changed it, a whole load more people would have complained. I mean, where are you going to brine useless pawns?
