not going to like when the trailer dropped for this i was excited to try the game out,
was planning on buying the game today...............till...........

someone who saw what game i was planning on buying saw the game case at my local GAME store recommended i not bother wasting my money,

me - why...
him - do you use fast travel,,,
me - ...fairly often use it
him - you cant fast travel,,, not the normal way
me - thats fine long as i can fast travel if i simply cant be bothered with random encounters
him - you can fast travel... but you have to pay Real money for it...

i didn't say anything i just give him rised eyebrow...
then he shown me the dlc....

who was the guy ?... surely your curious?,.... right?....surely its just a random customer?....

no.........it was the GAME employee!......
so.......... i bought unicorn overlord instead at his recommendation
and to be honest im happy he changed my mind

paying for a feature thats a staple to ALL RPG games....?

You don't need to pay money to fast travel. You need to find certain stones to fast travel. They did this in the first game too. FIND THEM. This is pretty much a "If you liked the first game, you will like this one" type of thing. Also, NO NEED TO MESS WITH MICROTRANSACTIONS.

The employee lied to you, you can fast travel without paying real money.

You find the items used to fast travel out in the world, in chests and buy them with gold. I'd report them to their boss.

Content isnt being made into 'paid' content. Its just extras to make the start more smoother if you wanna talk about teleporting, you're still limited to your ferrychrystals which you must hhave in order to teleport to a port crystal.

And why you repeat what is said about save slots? Characters are ment to be meaningfull.

You're free to switch classes.

If you really dont like your characters all you need to go is to the capital to edit it.

But you litterally freely use all vocations.

I mean, it is a joke if you actually pay for it. You are a joke mainly, because who in their right mind would pay to get items you can easily, and I mean really easily just get in the game? Or you know, just make a cheat table and give yourself as many as you want if that's what you want? Who the f pays for that, even if it's an option? It's almost a stupid tax at this point to see who has more money than brains.

By the way in case some midwit thinks I'm "Defending" mtxs or whatever, I'm obviously not, get a grip. You can both wish they were gone and acknowledge that people who buy them are just as stupid as those micro transactions. Both are just as true.

The worst DLC is the tent. It is much lighter than the in game tents. You can only buy it in game if you have the DLC. Your character has a weight limit and the lighter tent makes a huge difference when optimising it.

dont forget assassin creed as options to pay for a "locate all" that tells you where everything is so it makes it faster......

is... the fact.... they ATTEMPTED to even put staples of an rpg game into pay for content.,....

character editor .......... most.....EVERY OTHER GAME as free options like oh i dont know ........
bg3 for example has a magic mirror,,,,, fable has a barber.... gta had a barber.......

fast travel .... most games has a full options to fast travel,,, or "points" where you could fast travel (from a rpg playing stand point),,,, ff7 chocobo stops,,,,, skyrim.... the horse carts.........
all of which..........where freee...... all oh which ......... had NO OPTION TO PAY FOR THEM.....
