Is there an option to display the real names of the pawns?
I don't know if it really exists, but I would like to see the names that players have given to their pawns and not their monikers. I am even unable to see my steam friends' names.

Same problem, I'm pretty sure when I started their real name showed, but for some reason now I only see their monikers. I can't find any settings related to it, so it would be great to know how to revert this.

same problem here

bumping this as I have the same issue.

This is starting to irritate me. I have searched the internet for information and nothing. To add an extra tidbit, my steam friend sees my Arisen name with his moniker, and I have no offensive name whatsoever.

Well, I might have discovered the problem. My game has English voices and Spanish texts. If I put the texts in English too, it fixes the problem and I see all the pawns with their names, not their monikers. However, now I see my pawn with the moniker xD

OOOOOh, I'm also playing with Spanish texts and English voices... so it's a bug? pfff. (Sea como sea, gracias y buen trabajo por descubrirlo)

Indeed, it seems to be a bug, if someone knows a way to report it to CAPCOM it would be ideal (y nada, lo averigüé de casualidad probando cosas en el menú)

I'm playing on English voice and english subs, still have this issue. never seen the real names. only monikers. Can't find any settings

Have you tried switching to another language? Perhaps the solution requires changing the texts to another language different from the original one
Soneira Mar 24, 2024 @ 12:51pm
(if this is the case, it is a very serious bug for those of you who don't know another language).

I have tried your solution and it works. And it repeats the same problem of seeing your character and your pawn with the monikers. I think I'm just going to wait, although it's a thorn in my side.

Same problem, but there is one friend I see the normal name and other friends I see only moniker, I don't know what to do.
I don't want to see the monikers lol

This. I just tried it out and you only see the "real names" in their created language. My game is in english and my friends are playing in german. I only see the moniker of their pawns, but my pawn has its custom name. When I switch to german, the custom names of my friends pawn show up, but my pawn has its moniker.

So the "mystery" has been solved, it has a certain logic in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ way of course. We can only see the real names of Arisen and pawns if they have been created in the language we are playing. It's... ridiculous.

It's ridiculously logical. Even seems difficult to do it on purpose xD Hopefully CAPCOM will fix it in the patches. We know if they're aware of it?
