Colours are awful in fullscreen and in borderless windowed modes...
Game starts fine, but the colours are dull, too bright, too grey... everything is grey basically. I don't know what's up with it, it's only like this, when in fullscreen or borderless windowed modes.
I tried it with or without HDR, tried different resolutions, different picture settings on TV. Turned all AMD features off and on, tried all pixel formats and color depths and tried loads of other things. I don't know what the F else to try... It just pisses me off now. Are the devs of this game just sht or what?
I have an RX 7900 XT, and Philips OLED TV, PC is connected to the TV with my PS5's HDMI.
I would post some pics, so you can see what I mean, but I don't know how to post them here.

Please help someone.
Thanks.

Try the solution in this post to get fullscreen HDR to work. It's a temp bandaid fix until they can fix it through the game. Only downside is needing Game Bar performance graph to be pinned visible to your screen, but at least fullscreen HDR will work.

Thanks, but the colors are bad both in HDR and SDR, so the real issue has likely got nothing to do with HDR.
I just tried it though, and it didn't work for me. Dropped back to that colorless grey screen, once I clicked in the game from the Game bar. But even, when the game bar was on and the colors weren't grey, it was still not the original good colored game, as it is in windowed mode. Thanks anyway.

Now, I just kind of wish I never pre-ordered this game...

When it switches back to the colorless gray screen when you change settings or something you can switch display to windowed then back to Fullscreen it'll change back to HDR On, as long as the Game Bar performance tab is still pinned. But yeah, I'm not entirely sure the HDR colors are working as they should entirely. The HDR calibration settings seem off still.

The game looks indeed bleak and dull, with a weird tonemap... All we can do for now is fiddle with Nvidia overlay or monitor settings. Mods will follow.

Well, that just should not be the way for a £60-70 game.

Sounds like a HDR problem. Always turn that off

If you read up a few comments, you can see, that I already mentioned it, that it's got nothing to do with HDR. It's the same in SDR.
