Brothers Brave and Timid bugged?

I somehow lost them on the way back to town (Melve) and I can't find them anymore? Is this some sort of bug or did i actually lose them and have to find them?

Same here one brother is gone and other won't follow.

They disappeared when I got distracted for two seconds but they reappeared when I got back to town

Some pathing is probably bugged. I had one of the brothers get stuck on the rocks of a cliff side. Had to jump and grapple them a few times to get him unstuck.

I’m not sure if they appear on the main map, but if you trace your path backwards, they should appear as a yellow diamond marker on the minimap if they didn’t wander off or glitch somewhere beyond reach.

Same here. Went through a cave, and lost sight of them. I even back tracked the same exact way 2 times, nowhere to be seen.

I do things differently and carry the guys for most of my quests. The brothers didn’t care until we got back to camping site. Then my pawn’s stabbed them to death, i thought cool, they lied to me to try and murder and rob me in the woods! Kinda like Runescape when people would ask you to go into the woods for…”adventure…” then murder you and take all your stuff. But nope, just bugged. They lie in their bed, as I carried both bodies back. Dead. Now I am unable to finish one of the first quests of the and because it’s bugged. I don’t know why my Pawns killed them. still love the game though.

if you don't see or can't find an npc it's probably dead, you can revive him/her at the mortuary.

Yes you can revive them though unfortunately this solution does not work for everyone as i have seen many reports of Npcs de-spawning and never actually re-spawning.. makes you wonder what on earth is going on for that to actually happen, its not like we can bring up console and check, also heard of a few people falling under the worlds mesh by literally falling through the ground randomly when scaling cliffs etc, if this happens to players its safe to assume this could also happen with Npc's too.

ill go have a look in the mortuary, its just the fact the quest is still there and doesn't go away

I don't mind failing the quest, just that it doesn't go away from the quest page kind of annoys me, i'll have a look in the mortuary though

Confirm mortuary cleared it for me and completed. Took ox cart to melkin. Game played cut scene phew!
