How to start a new game

The fact that you can not just start a new game is completely idiotic, but here is a guide that worked for me:

Sometimes people want start over after getting a feel for the game. It's highly common in RPGs from my experience. The fact that they don't provide the option in the start a new game is just ridiculous. I'm really enjoying the game right now, but come on Capcom... seriously?

That it's an idiot tax honestly to me makes it more nefarious. Preying upon the ignorant shouldn't really sit right with anyone who isn't a grifter.

Thanks. I was surprised they didn't include this; I rerolled DDA more than a few times so I expected to do the same with 2 over the years. I actually would be willing to believe it'll be repackaged DLC... or, god forbid, a second save slot as DLC

They announced that future patch will have it, they are currently working on it to add. It's odd that it's not there to begin with but at least it's coming..

Some people just want to check out their characters in game because often times they look different in game than in the char creator.

There is no "new game" button in main menu like in dd1?

As far as I know, this only works for redoing your body, not for restarting from zero and respawn dead NPCs

Agreed, but someone else said in another thread that Capcom is just testing the waters, you know, boiling the frog, if enough people buy this simple thing, that can be bought in game by farming RCs, they might add more MTX down the line or in future DLCs. So be angry with this now, you might not think its that much but it might as well become, maybe they will put behind a paywall some NPC armor that we could get in the game otherwise, first game had quests for that, some armors and weapons only appeared for sale if you did those.
