DLSS BLURRY
I am not sure why but with this game DLSS on QUALITY with 1440P resolution makes the game BLURRY.. using a rtx3080
Normally with how good DLSS is now it prefer it over old school AA, but in this game it's bad.

Just letting people know.

Every game I have tried DLSS on makes it look like you coated the screen in Vasoline, so I never uses it.

Something is wrong with DLSS implementation here. It looks fine one moment, but turn camera in a certain direction and it breaks completely. You can sometimes see, even without moving the camera, image to break up and pixelate briefly.

To me it's the opposite, it's sharper then old school AA when it works.
This the first game for me where it's actual worse. Everything else was a win/win better performance and better image quality.

in this game it sucks ballz though.

i tried it, it gave me noticeable ghosting on 4k, ridiculous.
i always go with DLAA but it doesn't have it either...

It's the worst implementation of DLSS I've encountered thus far. It is so bad that something must be wrong. Hopefully they can fix it, since the performance without is disastrous.

You're doing it wrong, you gotta buy the "Not Blurry DLSS" MxT DLC they put out. It's only $2.

Turn off motion blur. It screws with DLSS.

Dlss 3 usually is good. They messed it up thou, i heard the RE engine has an engine TAA always on, that makes it look like this. BUT theres a pure dark mod for free that enables frame gen and the newer dlss, and it looks way more crisp.

Yeah there is something weird going on in places.
Gibbel Mar 24, 2024 @ 11:42pm
I replaced the DLSS file with an old version 2.5.1. Now it actual works for my 3080. No blurry and increased fps.
check "negative LOD bias" setting, if it's "clamped" change it to "allow"

i heard that clamped + DLSS make things look a*s and you should use "allow" instead with DLSS

if it doesn't work tho, idk

Yeah, DLSS is weird in this game. When I turn it on I don't see a performance increse and it makes everything blurry. I'm just playing the game in native.
Signex Mar 25, 2024 @ 12:08am
It's not blurry for me using a 2080 ti. I thought dlss always uses some sharpening?

DLSS make this game look like a ps3 title. Take this game to the next gen and turn DLSS off. This is the way.

DLSS is a lower quality image than a traditionally rendered one. That's why it provides more frames per second. Turn that crap off and adjust the other quality settings to get a stable fps you can live with.
