Do you or pawns need rest?
Or anything like that? If so, how do you go about doing that (besides sleeping at a lodge). I've been dozing off on the bench to pass time.

One of my pawns said something along the lines of being tired and could use some rest.

And at the moment, inns seem pretty speedy at 1,000 gold for a night. I'm sure I'll have plenty of gold later, but. I'm basically at the beginning.

Find a campfire and get a camping kit. Seems to only break if you get ambushed during your rest.

You really only need to rest to recover chip damage that temporarily reduces max hp

I see. So we're not forced to sleep/rest because our character and pawns don't get tired or sleepy. And you only need to rest to make your max health full again.

Thanks for the reply.

Basically max hp drops as you enter combat and take damage, bit by bit. And combat gets more and more dangerous as your pawns starts to take dangerous maneuvers instead of safely sniping away from a distance. The so called 'adaptive' difficulty raises the curve as you level up it seems, before I would one or two shot goblins, now after lv12+ it seems to have made them a bit tankier. You can level up pretty quickly loitering around in the fields and killing mobs.

Yeah your character and pawns do get tired and loose effectiveness overtime. Supposedly, hence why you need to camp every now and then or rest at an inn.

I think max hp also decreases over time as you stay 'awake' for more than a day.
I think the pawns calling for rest is just for immersion.

My pawn complains about rest and sits down constantly, but I just pick her up and give her a toss and she's right as rain.

... I'm a good person, I swear.

I'll say yes, only because otherwise theyll try to take a flipping swim.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. And also the funny ones, lol. Never knew you could pick up your pawn.
