I found a way to make a NEW GAME with your premade character from the start
First things first; even if you delete your save data directly, if you have Steam Cloud enabled it'll automatically redownload your saves immediately. To solve this issue, you'll want to disable Steam Cloud first before you go to delete your saves. To do so, simply right-click the game on PC, select properties, and then uncheck "Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Dragon's Dogma 2". With that done, you can proceed to delete your saves.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then go into the character creator and an 'error' will pop up choose to download your character from the cloud or from local machine, choose from the cloud - dont worry if you've followed the steps above then the main game will still not have the cloud enabled. Go into your character in the creator and then save and exit. [Do Not open the game yet]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next part is simple - head to your Steam folder in Program Files (x86) on your system's boot drive C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\whatver your number is for your account\2054970\remote\win64_save. and (Delete ONLY - data001Slot.bin and data000.bin) and you'll be good to go. Simply re-open Dragon's Dogma 2 and you'll be prompted to start a new save. Congrats; now you can start a NEW GAME with your premade your Arisen and Pawn without having to pay for any DLC. HAVE FUN!!!

Nah mine is different from the website that this came from, read the whole thing, this way doesnt wipe all ur data, just deletes the saves not your premade characters, no rebinding keys, no calibrations, just start the game and start a new game with ur existing premade characters at lvl 1

That doesn't sound simple at all...

What if you want a brand new arisen?

That's nice and all, but I think it would be better if Capcom were slowly roasted over an open fire for this absurd decision.

Might want to be careful with that. Rumor has it Denovo sees that as re-installing. And that some people have bricked their game because of this.

If you want a brand new character then just select the option to not use your saved character from the cloud when starting a new game!

My way doesnt delete the user data to make denuvo think ur using a new account/pc, all it does is ONLY deletes your save, all your key config, your brightness, your calibration, log in everything besides the character data stays. So when you get to the main menu the game starts up fine and then you choose start new game, thats it.

If you want a brand new character then just select the option to not use your saved character from the cloud when starting a new game!
But if you accidentally turn cloud saving back on it'll overwrite without even asking.

so after you've started a new game, in game select save and continue, then exit the game, then wait for steam to say, theres an error syncing, then start the game again using a local save, then once in game save and exit, then in stead you should see that syncing is up to date and then enter the game again and load ur save game and its where you left off in your new game!
