Honest Review
I have never played the first game, so i would not be able to tell you too much.
2.9 hours in and i would say i barely scratch the surface, game gives you super basic tips and you basically find your own path or follow quest.
Was happy to recruit some free pawns but eventually they died from fighting harpies along the edge of a cliff . I cried internally.
Do not forget to adjust position before fighting a monster on the edge of a cliff .
Map seems super huge +
great game just needs more details on items , like is it a one time use or reusable .
if your a archer be careful a random stray arrow might kill or hit a npc , they might start attacking you lol
compile shaders in the beginning was a bit weird but i didnt mind the a few min/second wait
FPS for ryzen 7 3700 8 core 3.6 ghz/ 32 ram/ 1660 ti / everythings about 5-6 years old parts
low settings with almost everything at default no issues so far seems playable and no bugs/issues of yet
cut scenes over 140 fps for me
in town average 40-80 fps
fighting goblins average 40-60 fps

Trust me the game is longer than you think, NG+ is actually part of the NG experience if you care about gear.

Have you given you pawn a high five yet? Sometimes if you walk past em after a fight you do it 🤣

I ran pass mine and she started glowing , but that is pretty much it.

You forgot to mention totally alien nature of UI/controls. I'm not sure who designed the way you deliver stuff, for example. Like instead of pressing a single "deliver" (or "complete quest" or bypass it alltogether) button you're thrown into another interface where you have to manually select every item first and then complete the delivery. Why? Not even mentioning the hotkeys being all over the keyboard and weird hotkey combos (ctrl+b to open inventory instead of "I" - yeah totally intuitive)

completely slipped my mind
true, but for me its not too bad especially if says to play with controller for best experience its like darksouls/eldenring ui. i do admit thought maybe a automatic set keybinding when playing on pc would be nice
