Fast travel is the same as it was in the first game. You can buy a single port crystal as dlc, sure, but the other 9-10 of them are obtained in game and all they are are waypoints you can set and pick up that you can use ferrystones to warp to. otherwise ferrystones can only take you to major cities.

There is a portcrystal available for Sale as DLC, which is, admittedly, an odd choice. All of the other Add-ons are bait and can be obtained in game without any issue. IIRC Dark Arisen only had 3 portcrystals, so assuming this game has a similar limitation, slapping another behind a paywall feels pretty iffy.

think about it. why would i spend real time traveling in-game when I could just upgrade to get fast travel. but i get it, i honestly wouldn't want to spend money on micro-transactions if i was in your tax bracket too. just say you are broke and move on

They will drop a limited amount in game, the same as the first one, get used to running forest because you are going to be doing a TON of it.
