Some people, like me, like to project an ideal version of themselves into RPGs so I enjoy big strong straightforward fighters. Other people have an archetype in their mind they enjoy playing and that archetype may be a different sex than they are. Some people just wanna look at a hot female the whole game. Theres alot of reasons why people pick what they do in RPGs.

I don't look at men's ass, even although this is third person, I had no isses, although i was playing as mage, but I do like to hire all female pawn while main male that are me roleplaying. I love women, but I do play main character as male due that guy was me, more or less meanwhile I hired all beautiful female follower, that's just me, I enjoy beautiful women follow me around.

Nah, that is not narcissim to me, what is normal to each, to me that is normal, while person play as someone, ect, that is not normal to me but who can said what is normal and what is not. Reason is that not narcissim because every thing you control and decisions is from you, not from person in game, it's like you control over someone's life if you don't play as yourself, that is, at least from my point of views, "representation" if you will.

Yup, this. And gay males or straight females might choose a male. Or not.

Maybe it's because the majority of my friends in life have been women, idk? I just do what feels good, I do make male characters in games too. If you think that makes someone weird, me thinks you have some growing to do.

Combination of factors. First and foremost is typically speaking, preference. Second, is in a broad term; fashion. Third; Attractive females are easier to make than attractive males. Fourth, some just plain don't want to hear certain kinds of voices, or look at certain thing for prolonged periods.

Don't get me wrong, there are a variety of reasons for a Male Gamer to play a Female Avatar, even if you fully discount the LBQ82H-CO faction. Whatever the letters are nowadays...

The base line is, I do it because generally speaking, there are a few gender locked pieces of gear, and more oft than not, they tend to look better on females just because the larger audience of gamers is male, or presumed to be straight male, so more effort goes in that direction to help retain attention.

Like I stated... variety of reasons. Most of them, are quite simple.

Does this affect you in any way shape or form? No, not in the slightest. My preference is not your restriction. Unlike what a certain faction would like to deem reality. 'Sides, not like you're meeting the players, you're seeing the avatars/models created. Can be the biggest jackanape alive, and still have the best fashion and style sense in the world. Nothing wrong with that. (Aside from perhaps the individual who likely could use an emotional and mental education in this example.)
