It runs okay on a 4090.
It’s CPU bound. Our 4090s aren’t doing much.

Ah yes, a graphics card 99.99 percent of gamers won't have.

I got locked out by Denuvo for 24 hours for trying to launch the game 5 times to get it working. I mean, I doubt the game deserves only 38% positive reviews, but I think some flak for going with Denuvo at all is warranted.

i9 14900k and a 4090 maxed gets me ~60 fps without DLSS. But it just doesn't feel right.

People are pissed with more than just performance, the MTX and no new game is the real culprit here, if you close your eyes to this just because you liked the game soon you will see this industry trying to squeeze every dime from you with MTX.

This too. Hopefully people will just learn to stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buying them eventually. If they do, they'll stop showing up in games. Simple as that. Vote with your wallets, folks! (And negative reviews for games with microtransactions helps too, I would think.)

On a 3060 you get about 45 FPS, and there is no "new game" option, so if you want to edit your character, you have to buy a Day 1 DLC item to do so.

Apparently you can delete the local save file somewhere.

Like I posted in the other thread:

I Alt+F4ed.
I turned off cloud saving.
I deleted the save files.
I deleted the folder that housed them.
Then I restarted the game...

The game instantly redownloaded the save file that I had just deleted.

Oh, wow... That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥. And I doubt trying it completely offline would work either, since Denuvo.

4080 max settings with raytracing off runs great in the field... In a large town though the game chugs along and it runs at 30fps ish.

I think you don't understand the issue. I've seen 0 complaints about gameplay. The issues are the bugs, poor optimization, and the micro-transactions for a $70 game. They literally are trying to monetize every aspect of the game from reviving, fast travel, etc. If you can earn them in game it's not a huge deal... but they literally did a Bait & Switch scam. They tricked people into designing characters pre-release, took away the option to delete your character, and force people to pay $1.99 if they want to edit said character.

The issue is the company is treating the consumers like garbage and if we allow this type of abuse they'll keep doing it. You're in a toxic relationship and you're just willing to take the abuse because they give the good-good. But all the other evil corporations are watching this like hawks. If they see weakness they'll do the same thing. We're powerless to do anything except stir up public backlash. This game deserves to be review bombed.

This was such a horrible release. The optimization issues and bugs would have blown over. But the shady micro-transactions and Bait & Switch? This is going to tank their release. The game had so much hype too... it would have been incredibly huge. Now any trust in Capcom is ruined. They're even tanking the reputation of their upcoming Monster Hunter series....

you can get that in-game it's only for changing your looks if you want to just delete your save and start again or just quit gaming if that's too hard for you.
