This controller set up reminds me a lot of Monster Hunter and a reason why I never player ranged classes in that game. I am sure melee is alright.
This is worse. Way WAY worse. Maybe the worst control schema I've seen on PC. There are buttons you're not allowed to map to (I like "[" and "]" for menus, but that side of the keyboard doesn't exist on Capcom keyboards apparently). You're also FORCED to use the ctrl modifier for some actions even - literally, if you hit "R" to rebind a certain action, it will make the action "ctrl+R", and no, you can't use "R" anywhere else if you do this. Apparently "R" and "ctrl+R" are the same on Capcom keyboards. This has to be the DUMBEST implementation of PC controls for any game I've ever played. Whoever designed this needs to be fired, rehired, then fired again for good measure.
I realize games dont come with instruction manuals anymore. But like, it was the very instruction that came with the game. Like, before it even launched.
Cheers, mate.
The Game is too overpriced for its worth. which has a lot of missing functionality that a lot of other games have already implemented on their system. I was especially surprised about the camera functions of this game actually considering they have monster Hunter and elden ring. Where the camera controls don't bother me. it feels like a backward change to be honest.
What's worse is this uses the RE engine, and the mouse input in the Resident Evil games is near perfect. How'd they manage to ruin it?
I'm literally having to program a whole new layer on my keyboard just for this one game. Never had to do this in DD1, so I don't understand where this bizarre limitation came from, nor *WHY*. Absolute 0/10 on *the*most*basic* of accessibility options!
And no, a controller isn't a viable option for everyone regardless of what the loading screen recommends. Gen Xers (i.e. the first generation with the opportunity to grow up playing video games) been gaming long enough to where tendonitis and even arthritis are starting to become a reality.
if change "switch weapon skill" then the binding changes everywhere, but you can’t use ALT =(
Oh God I can finally play as archer.
edit: nvm for some dumb reason they really only allowed you to use half your keyboard. SMH my head screw this man.
