HDR Borked

Is anyone else's HDR setting f'd up? Mine is on but the picture is all washed out in Fullscreen. When I switch to Bordered an error occurs and HDR turns off.

yeah HDR is mega borked, it looks similar to the issues Armored Core 6 had with HDR, I remember having to turn off auto HDR to fix it but with DD2 that doesn't solve the issue

hopefully someone figures out how to fix this or devs patch it soon

HDR is mega screwed up on my end too. It was in the character builder. Everything looks like garbage. I tried to disable autoHDR at the windows level, but it still tries to turn that ♥♥♥♥ on when i open the game... I can't disable it at the options in Full screen for some reason. Great options menu!

any way to turn capcom's garbage forced HDR on to off? most games give an option to turn this off.

Looks like the game forces HDR if it sees you have an HDR monitor and HDR enabled in windows

I think the only way to stop it is by turning off HDR in windows outright, it's what I had to do to play in SDR as that's currently the only way for me to play until they fix HDR mode.

Found a pseudo fix to it. If you toggle it to borderless window then window it'll force HDR off and look relatively normal. Only thing is it changed it back if you got back into the options settings.

If you've enabled Windows auto- hdr it may be that causing the bright whiteness of the images displayed. It does this on my pc so I don't enable it and the picture is fine w/o it. You will have to rely on your ,monitor's hdr setting instead.

unless you have a OLED HDR screen and latest Windows....PC's have been trash to implement any HDR into their game. Doesnt matter if you have the option in game. You need OLED screen.

I had to do that to keep the character creator demo from crashing at launch.

HDR is flat our BROKEN! This is not working at all in full screen or Borderless. Seems richer in windowed, but who wants to play in windowed!

I have an OLED with HDR and HDR in this game is broken, its the game.

Had to turn it off in windows. Looks like crap on.
