If you install the latest drivers 551.86 you will see there is already a profile for DD2 included.

The amount of people who think that GPU is the only thing that affects performance is staggering.

Performance is a combination of SO many factors. Sometimes it’s also 100% the game and not your setup.

Ha!

Not the best game to have input lag for!

I'm sure they'll stream OK, but you've got to have great internet, and there's input lag for your buttons pressed to register on the server then come back to you.

If it were a turnbased RPG that would be absolutely cool. But for a Dragon's Dogma game? Eeeek.

It's a single player game.

AMD also released drivers for the game last night.

YES good news https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/geforce-now-thursday-dragons-dogma-2/

Im using geforce now (ultimate) for over 2 years, and no input lag if you have a very fast isp connection AND cable instead of wifi.

I play on it every day, and all games that release on it.
(1440p at stable 120fps, everything on highest settings)
Also no shader cache issues as that happens on server side at the nvidia server center.

Most of the games i play i see 4xxx card users complain about bad performance, while i have good performance via geforce now. :)

It uses alot of data , 22gig/hour in my case but with unlimited data use its not an issue :)

That's exactly what makes input lag worse.

I don't know how much you know about online multiplayer - but a lot of the design of those games is how you hide the input lag.

When you see your friend moving around in the game, a lot of that movement isn't real - but simulated after the fact to show the illusion of their inputs.

Same with more than a bit of your own movement.

All to hide the lag.

That's not necessary for single-player games.

Even when doing in-house streaming, I find lag in action games to just feel *wrong* - to a larger degree than multiplayer lag.

Everything from camera movement to attack timing, having to stream out first, then the result back. Not at the speed of light, but at the speed of all the junction timing.

Without anything to hide it - I always find it noticeable.

A lot of gibbering I didn't ask for. Been using Geforce Now since it launched. Haven't cried about it the whole time. Bummer for you.
