IS MY PC SPECS ENOUGH TO HANDLE THIS GAME ON 1440P OR 4K
Saw the early reviews and quite disappointed. This will actually be my fist pc game as I mainly play on my console. Given the benchmarks released by some of the reviewers, can my pc run this game at 1440p 60 fps or 4k 30 fps? I'm just new to pc gaming so my knowledge is quite limited. If I prefer 4k gaming, should I just refund the preorder and purchase the ps5 version instead?

Here are the specs of my PC:
CPU: AMD 7 7700 (Non x)
GPU: RTX 6800XT
32 GB RAM

I hope to hear your opinion or insight. Thank you very mcuh! :)

I think you will be ok might get around 30+fps at 1440p though if thats ok with you as a worst case scenario. but bare in mind there should be a day 1 patch which could effect performance

Awww. That's unfortunate. Decided to purchase the pc version, thinking it would outperform my ps5. Thanks for the input tho. Really appreciate it!

I meant RX 6800xt. My bad. I'm pretty new to this.

Why do people who don't know anything about PC gaming want to play games at 4k? Do you guys seriously invest in 4k monitors without knowing if your PC can handle it in the modern games that support 4k?

Looks pretty good if you ask me. And you can enable frame generation with the 6800 on the driver so that is a big deal perhaps.

Ehm, PS5 is not better. When they say 4K, its upscaled.

PS5 hardware is quite similar to ~3700X + 6700XT

I have a 1440p monitor. Built the pc as I intend to use it for 1440p gaming. Just asked about the 4k stuff since I also have an LG C2 OLED for my ps5 gaming. I am just wondering if I can play this game on my LG C2 OLED even if at 30 fps as the oled dispay is significantly better than my 1440p mintor. I was asking just in case I want to switch it up. :))

You could try RSR, set it to 1080p and upscale to 1440p. I doubt 30fps will be best you get. Lower shadows first for performance boost, lighting next.

If your PC can't do better than PS5 I would be very surprised.

I see. Well, that's a relief! I guess I'll just have to tweak some settings when the game releases to have an optimal gaming experience. Thank you so muchhh!

Go to PCGamer, they have an article where they detail what performance a 7800xt gets, which isn't that much better than a 6800xt and at 1440p apparently it gets around 60 fps in the open world, around 40-45 in towns.

I've read the article. My CPU is a little bit better than what was paired with the 7800xt, so I'm really hoping that I'd be able to achieve similar results.

Tbf, they might have some PS5 specific optimizations in place, which could use the weaker hardware a bit more efficiently, who knows. In the end, they are console devs.
But it seems, the biggest problem is the actual CPU, when you are in dense areas and the GPUs are mainly important for higher resolutions. I read someone had 100FPS outside the town and 25FPS inside...
I really don't know, how the 7700 is performing in games and how it compares to others. I would just guess, it does better than a 3700X

Yeah, I read the views. That dip fps would be really noticeable I presume. Too bad there isn't an fps cap. I'd prefer 30 fps capped framerate than fps with heavy fluctuations. I just really hope that there will be a first day patch.
