Apparently there is no way to delete your character and start over In-Game.

Just watched a couple reviews, and one reviewer mentioned that there is no option to start over or delete your save. even after hitting NG+, mobs don't scale up at all and there isn't any way to start over.

Hopefully this is just their review copy. What a weird thing to exclude.

yeah there is no way to make a new character, i get no volume in the game, seems like a lot of things were overlooked here

^ Userdata is the correct folder. But watch out with deleting everything because it also has the characters made in the character creator demo.

And this society is here to tell you there is NO SUCH OPTION IN THE GAME.

Really. The most basic option ever: Start new game. It doesn't have it. You can only continue an existing game. There is *no* in-game way to delete your save file. Once you create a character (which you may skip through just to check the performance first) you're locked with it unless you manually delete the save data from Steam app folders AND clear your cloud data as well.

The reason I want to start over is because I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up my custom character and they look like ♥♥♥♥, so I want to restart so I can edit them.

But just an FYI, if you delete those save files to start a new game, it might also delete any characters from the character creator so... yeah.

Oh but that's unrealistic! You get one life to live, you can't just start over because something went wrong! You have to experience this journey from start to finish and then NEVER PLAY AGAIN! This is the intended way to play!

this is a massive problem for me, the character creator was not importing my saves to the main game for some reason, so I read to turn on cloud save, but now I cant delete my local save data, the cloud save is just overwriting it

This is incompetence on an entirely new level I have never seen before

Camera is horrible. Cant adjust FOV. Cant restart my save. Combat is the whole focus of the game and its scuffed. All aspects of the game feel zoomed in from cut scenes to game play. Just does not feel like it was ready for release or there was minimal feedback in beta testing, maybe its only bad on pc with mouse and keyboard but im not gonna play a game on my pc just to hook up a controller.
