Performance - beware low end users!
Saw the Fextralife review and this was their performance;

Build
i9-12900K
RTX3090
64GB RAM (not very important but whatever)

Running the game in 1440 @Ultra settings
80FPS average, and 40fps in big cities

With some tweaks i think you can get stable 80FPS at 1440 contsnatly. But with a PC build like that at 1440P... nobody is going to run this game in 4K and i suspect low end users to struggle too if they don't play on low settings.

I'm actually using a low end PC with a GTX 1080, 32 GB Ram and AMD ryzen 5 3600X and it runs perfect fluent at 50-60 FPS. Still can play it, so If I can, you most likely can. No crashes as of yet and I'm loving it so far.

Glad i got 16 performance cores (32 threads) instead of the 8 performance core i9-12900K. My 7950x3d I should be able to get good performance in cities with that.

Fingers crossed.

Hate to say it, but this game is gonna need DLSS 3.5 and FSR 3(and obviously some basic optimizations)

Hoping my 4080/5800X3D build doesn’t drop below 60, or im COOKED.

It won't in the open world, but it will in town according to multiple sources.

which honestly isnt as bad as people think.

i mean novigrad to this day can still drop fps and witcher came out in 2015 (of course rtx update is there as well)

so its pretty reasonable to expect drops at 4k imo, specially when the game actually is this detailed (of course people will say this game looks like garbage for whatever reason)

So some tweaking required got it. I'm sure DF will do a video on optimal settings for DD2.

I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1080. I usually game at 1440p, so this makes me worried.
Core 20 MAR 2024 a las 9:37
Got a I5 13600k and RTX 4070 with 32gb of DDR5 ram. Not expecting 4k 60fps but will be going for 1440p 60fps in high settings which should work I hope

yea this is sadly probably the gen where the 10series cards finally start seeing the horizon...

i dont like that because its such a good series of cards but they have lived a long fruitful life and even if these games coming out are their end they have served for so long its actually insane.

if it doesnt work well then i guess its time for a strong salute and a proper burial by just using it still but for lesser games after you make a new pc :P

cause THAT ♥♥♥♥ AINT GOING NO WHERE 10 SERIES FOR LIFE!!! MAY THEY REIGN FOREVER

Sounded like Starfield performance ngl.
sounds worse

Maybe I guess, the reviewer I watched said the entire game had problems, especially during effects and going to cities. Though Starfield had this same problem, for the most part, going to planets was pretty solid from what I remember tho.

the 10 series cards were the best and have continued to be great. I will keep using my 1080 until I feel like its not running games well anymore. Dragons Dogma 2 may bring it to its knees though lol.

Don't know if anyone posted this already, but it might be useful
one thing to keep in mind is that some reviewers said that changing most graphical settings barely have an impact on the performance, so this whole thing is most prob a CPU problem.
Sundancer 20 MAR 2024 a las 9:49
i noticed they listed the 3600 as minimum spec and the 3600x as recommended there is litterally only a few % difference between them if at all

Yeah someone said that IGN got a confirmation from Capcom that it's a CPU problem.

Less than 1% of steam users have a 4090. How many even try to game at 4k? 3 or 4% maybe?
