We taking game journalists at their word now?

Yes and nvidia probably haven't released optimized drivers yet. Those come on release day or shortly after.

I'm sure this game will be fine on a 4090. Even more so if the ps5 which is like 25% as powerful can get 30fps

Lmao another one of these posts. Trying to use one 4090 with max settings in 4k on 3 monitors. Bunch of dumb dumbs.

People are so gullible these days. I thought it was just the fake photos and videos on social media but it's worse than that.

looks like my suspicions were correct. the only way to get those fps is with no dlss, highest possible and rt.

IGN: Capcom Is 'Aware' of Dragon's Dogma 2 Frame Rate Issues on PC, Looking Into Fixes

TLDR: 30-40 on max , Apprently Console fps is more fook-ed as a quote on article "IGN senior editorial producer Mark Medina that he had switch from playing on PlayStation 5 to PC because he was getting motion sickness."

you guys are shocked that in 2024 we got a poorly optimized game? NO WAY. It is really not like its same story every AAA release :steambored:
Mister Breaker Mar 20, 2024 @ 9:05am
Its a CPU issue, not GPU. Either its poorly optimized or the engine just cannot handle the open world. I am going with the latter due to all other RE Engine games being much more linear in comparison to DD2.

Are you referring to the article where they say

"...even high-end machines of an RTX4090 paired with an AMD 5800X3D CPU can drop into the 30s whilst in the denser populated towns."

Before they then proceed to link screenshots of a 3080 paired with an AMD 5800X3D running the game in this performance range? Because if so, I'd probably hold off until they get their heads out of their asses and clarify.

Not saying the performance is fine, but if they messed up in their article, that's quite a big ♥♥♥♥ up.
