Dragon’s Dogma 2 release times
On PC, the Dragon’s Dogma 2 release time is set for 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT on Thursday, March 21, and midnight GMT / 1am CET / 11am AEDT on Friday, March 22.

These are all of the launch times for each region and corresponding city, if you’re not in any of the above:

Lost Angeles – 5pm March 21
Mexico City – 6pm March 21
Toronto/New York – 8pm March 21
São Paulo – 9pm March 21
London – midnight March 22
Paris – 1am March 22
Helsinki – 2am March 22
Riyadh – 3am March 22
Seoul – 9am March 22
Tokyo – 9am March 22
Auckland – 1pm March 22

Pre-Load

The Dragons Dogma 2 preload date begins on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, for all three systems. This is just barely two days or so before the game’s launch. The exact time for preloading on all three regions is expected to happen around midnight in each region. For US players, this means you should be able to preload the game starting at 12 a.m. EDT (9 p.m. PDT). This way, you can download the game early and immediately play it when it launches at midnight in your region two days later.

WHAT??? WHY?? We PRE-ORDERED it, most of us for the SOLE purpose of being able to download it in time to actually play. This is absolutely outrageous and unnacceptable. Shame on CapCom for not warning players about this and taking their money anyway.

I think they won't allow us to pre-load because of dataminers.
Once they release pre-loading for us, there will be people who can decrypt the files and spoil every little secret of the game ahead of time. Also, Capcom itself isn't really known for giving PC users pre-loading at all. Perhaps there been a few exceptions, but not many.
Lets pray the download speed at release won't be too slow :)

Console having pre-load is way different then PC users in this case of datamining, there is no way to datamine on console's (yet lol). I wish we had pre-loading too but i guess there are always a group of people who ruin it for the other peeps. Capcom could have been honest about this themselves, but they choose not to say a word.
