It would be great to get one, but as per steam policy we cant get it until 48hrs before game launch. hopefully they opted in to the pre-dowload so we can hit the floor running on the 22nd!

I wrote about this too early, you need to wait, usually they give you a download 1-2 days in advance

yea, its a steam thing unfortunately. its to prevent several things including Datamining.

If you have a fast internet connection you are better off downloading the whole thing on day 1, since unpacking the encrypted files can take longer than the download itself. If you're stuck with poor bandwith (like yours truly) then preload is the way to go. We should get it one or two days before launch.

Yeah hopefully they don't drop a sizeable Day 1 patch to throw a wrinkle into the situation for low bandwidth players.
