It's 30 FPS on the PS5. It's not going to play well on the Deck.
That said pawn system won't require a ps5 membership to use from what I read online even though it's an online feature.
The original Dragon's Dogma/Dark Arisen also states broadband is required, but is playable offline with generic pawns.
You could also hire an online pawn and retain their service while offline, but their levels wouldn't progress until you reconnected so they could update. Subscriptions were not required back then either, as there is no multiplayer.
It's really all the info we have to go on, best to wait till release for this kinda info though.
yes, I know that consoles are stuck at 30 fps and that's why I chose the PC version with which I can take advantage of dlss3, but reluctantly because I love the physical versions and the immediacy with which you play on console. We'll see how it goes.
i can download but after that my connectivity cant be relied.
to be fair, the PS5 version is native 4K only.
You can always wait a day or two after the official launch, by then anything that they do that's against paying customers will have been revealed fully and if they tick enough boxes you'd still be in the refund window if you pre-order.
