Release time?

So I know this is out next Friday but is there any info on the actual time the game is out? Dont want to book it off work if its 6pm like a lot of games

most releases on steam are global

Unconfirmed so far. I imagine it will be a worldwide simultaneous release like Monster Hunter games did, so the time will be dependent on what time zone you're in. For me in Pacific time zone, Steam has it listed as a March 21st release. So I take that to mean that I'll be playing by 9pm at the latest on the 21st.

People from america are saying 21st (Thursday) and in Europe and Asia 22nd (Friday), so most likely at midnight or a bit after in Europe's time zone, morning for Asia, evening for usa, Early evening Hawaii.

I doubt it. That would mean it would be a default Steam release, which would mean it would say March 22 for me and be about 10 am my time. Since it looks like you're in UK or something, I would guess probably either midnight GMT or somewhere around 8 am from what I can guess based on the release date for me.

UK yeah I'm alright with both of those. games usually come out 6pm uk time which really sucks

It's confusing because it says March 21st. But releasing at midnight on the 20th would be weird thats a full day ahead of release. An it wouldn't be midnight on the 21st cause technically that's the 22nd so no point in marking it as the 21st

The common practice is to release it at midnight GMT, which would make sense since Americans would get it "the day before", thus the 21st.

Not in my experience and that wouldn't make it so that americans would have a 21st release date. At the latest it'd be about 9 am GMT on the 22nd

I have a question why take off work the day of a game's release? just take the next day off. That will then give you the time you get off work to play it and the full next day.
